Vision received 6th February 2007: I saw an old naval vessel, like a galley, berthed in a harbour. The Lord then showed me that the vessel was me! I was floating on the water (I understood this to be that I had the Holy Spirit) but I was tied to a “safe place”. I then saw a figure with a sword in his hand, and he asked me, “Shall I cut the ropes?”
I understood this to be that I was in a place with God that he was asking for complete surrender for everything in my life – the Holy Spirit wants to take over and run the show. Beside the ship and the harbour was a vast ocean that stretched as far as the eye could see. I understood that God was calling me now to trust his Spirit in order to explore the oceans.
Once the mooring was cut, there would be no going back to a safe place.

Father as I have prayed aloud, what are these ropes in my life that attach me from being free in flowing in Your Spirit and from letting the (my) ship sour the seas of (or in)Your Spirit? What are these ropes that attach my ship to the harbour and stops it from sailing freely?
The main rope is fear and unbelief in My goodness an My provision. Fear of man, fear of ridicule, fear of not being in control.
You are not alone my son, all my children are in the same situation. Some have let Me cut the ropes and are soaring unexplored seas (to them) in My Spirit. Some will never decide to take the step preferring the supposed vulnerable self made security. Some are in the process of having these ropes cut loose. Those who have ventured to have their ropes cut by Me have found that I AM in total control and that I AM the Best Navigator and that I indeed know the way. There will always be risks and perils but as you move along this path your life will be profitable in My kingdom for your life and for others.
Coming back to the ropes. Money and financial security is another rope that will need to be cut in your heart.
As these ropes are cut you have to totally embrace Me for everything in your life. I AM to be your closest friend. I AM to be your Inspirer. I AM to be your Life. I AM to be your strength. I AM to be your delight. I AM to be your daily Friend and Lover. I AM to be your daily Breath of Life and your daily Bread of Life. I AM to be your Wings of Eagles. I AM to be the Only One who will fill your heart. I AM to be your Living Waters and your Eternal Light. I AM to be your daily Comforter and your Healer. I AM to be your Instructor and the Builder of your faith. I AM to be your Vision. I AM to be your Laughter and your Joy.
My son where in the whole of creation can you find these. All these are in you for I AM will make MY residence in you My precious son.
Thank You precious Father I know that You have much more You want to share with me. I thank You for this tonight. Thank You for being so gracious with me and with Your children in Jesus’ name.
